I just published a release of the Sonar AI Prompt Library that adds 39 new prompts and brings the total to 315. The library started with financial analysis - reporting, cash flow, close, audit - and this release extends it into operations and administration. Three of the new prompts are free.

If you're not familiar with the library, then here's the short version. Sonar AI is an AI agent that runs inside NetSuite. Every prompt in the library is a playbook that I engineered and tested against live NetSuite data, and you run it inside your own account, against your own records. Nothing is exported, and no spreadsheet gets built. You run the prompt, and a few minutes later you have a report.

Over the past few weeks I've been writing about some of these prompts before they landed. Where that's the case, I've linked to the post, because the posts show real output and this one can't cover 39 prompts in that depth.

Three New Free Prompts

The free tier is now up to 25 prompts. These three came in with this release.

  • Money Flow Sankey - the whole P&L rendered as a river. Revenue streams enter on the left, split into cost of sales and gross margin, and gross margin splits into the opex branches and the net income that survives. One glance answers where the money goes. It's the prettiest thing the library has produced, and it costs nothing.
  • Financial Performance Overview - a board-ready single-period overview with a segment breakdown, prior-period and prior-year comparisons, health ratios, and risk indicators, built from NetSuite's standard reports.
  • P&L Flux Analysis with Automated Variance Explanations - not just which P&L accounts moved between two periods, but why, traced to the transactions that drove each variance. I wrote about it as part of the forecasting and variance set a few days ago.

The Factory Floor

This is new territory for the library. The Work Center Load Heatmap shows bottlenecks burning red weeks before they happen. The Factory Flow Sankey Builder draws production as a flow. Work Order Yield & Batch Loss Analysis finds where material goes missing between issue and completion, and Assembly Ingredient Cost Creep Analysis catches component costs drifting upward inside a bill of materials. The Warehouse

The Pick-Pack-Ship Latency Profile measures how long orders sit at each stage between commitment and shipment. Negative Inventory Root-Cause Analysis rebuilds the inventory ledger for every negative item-location and pinpoints the transaction where the balance broke. Alongside them are Inventory Positioning Analysis with Geographic Demand Mapping, the Supply Promise Anchor Audit, and Supply Chain Risk Quantification.

The Boardroom

Board Meeting Prep: The Ten Hardest Questions mines the quarter's general ledger for its most provocative numbers, anticipates the ten questions a skeptical board member will ask about them, and drafts a sourced, defensible answer to each. It's deliberately adversarial. It goes looking for quarter-end revenue loading, manual journals posted to revenue, and intercompany noise in the backlog, so that you find those things before the meeting does. Board Meeting Executive Summary is the calmer companion, and Segment Mix vs. Target Allocation compares your actual revenue and expense mix against the plan.

The Platform Itself

A lot of this release is for the people who keep the instance running. The NetSuite Security & Access Review produces a full vulnerability report. The Login & Authentication Anomaly Review, the Script & Automation Security Audit, the System Notes Forensic Review, and the Governance & Compliance Posture Review round out the set, and I wrote them up together in Security and Access, Reviewed From the Inside.

Then there's the SuiteScript 1.0 Inventory & Migration Risk Audit, a census of what still runs on the old API. The Integration Cartography Mapper draws every integration touching the account. And the Transaction Entry Performance Audit explains why your Sales Order form is slow, which was the first of these prompts I wrote about.

Finance and Planning

For finance teams, the release adds a Three-Scenario Financial Forecast, a Rolling 12-Month Cash Flow Forecast, QTD Budget Variance Analysis, and Variance Root Cause Analysis. The Financial Close Integrity Audit checks the close itself. The Financial Policy Compliance Report, Risk Exposure Heatmap, and Threshold Alert Scorecard are for risk and controls. Buy-Side Margin Leakage Audit and Operating Cost & Efficiency Analysis are for expense. And the Workforce Expansion Impact Assessment models what a hiring plan does to the P&L.

Revenue and Customers

The Customer Financial Performance & Risk Analysis is a full customer-base health check: retention, churn, concentration, cohorts, and named at-risk and expansion-ready accounts. The Geographic Sales Map shows where revenue ships. Pricing & Discount Leakage Analysis measures realized price against list price on invoice lines. Win/Loss & Customer Retention Analytics measures quote-to-order conversion and estimate abandonment. And the Route-Day Order Gap & Nudge Report, built for route-based distributors, lists the customers on tomorrow's route who haven't placed their usual order yet, and what they'd normally order.

Growth With Discipline

Why isn't the total higher than 315? Because this release also included a full quality pass. Every prompt in the library was reviewed against every other, and 22 near-duplicates were consolidated into their strongest versions. Where two prompts overlapped, the unique content of the weaker one was merged into the stronger one before it was retired. Two prompts that were originally in this batch didn't survive that review either. Fewer, better prompts.

The library page is new too. It's searchable and filterable, and there's a filter that shows only what just landed.

How Licensing Works

It's a one-time purchase, entitled to your NetSuite account family, so production, sandboxes, and release previews are all covered. There's no per-seat licensing and no subscription. The 25 free prompts are open to every Sonar user.
