It's been more than 5 months since I've updated my Now page, and a lot has changed since the last update.

I released Sonar, and I'm partnering with the Anchor Group, who is helping me distribute and support it. I'm also working on Helm. And of course, my "day job" consists of a lot of client work - mostly custom software development, which I'm working on with my team of AI agents.

Sonar

Sonar is an AI agent that runs inside NetSuite, under your login and your role, against live data. You can use it to query data, run reports, inspect records, and troubleshoot scripts through a simple chat. It can also build real solutions: Suitelets, RESTlets, Portlets, and more.

I launched it this summer, and about two months later it crossed 100 NetSuite installs. Sonar itself is free. All you pay for is the tokens, at your model provider's rates, under your own key.

Alongside it is the Sonar AI Prompt Library, which now holds 366 prompts across 15 categories, and 30 of them are free. I also recently went live and built a NetSuite app from scratch with Sonar, unscripted, starting from nothing but plain-language requirements.

Helm

Helm is an open-source framework for running unattended AI agents inside NetSuite. Sonar is the interactive version. Helm is for the work that should run every night without anyone watching, and it's built on a simple premise: AI should do the work, and people should make the decisions.

There are ten agents so far, across finance and operations, and the newest ones were built conversationally in Sonar and then promoted to Helm. It's still in development, and it's in closed beta testing right now.

Client Work

Most of my time still goes to client work. It's mostly custom software development, and a lot of it is for companies running on NetSuite. I do it with a virtual team of 30+ specialized AI agents that I designed and built myself, and I wrote about how that team works earlier this year.

Writing

I've been writing more than usual, mostly about AI in NetSuite: where an agent belongs, what an autonomous ERP might look like, and why I think that there's a lot of opportunity right now for people who already know NetSuite. It's all on the blog.
