XojoTalk Interview

A few weeks ago, I recorded a podcast for XojoTalk, a popular podcast for the Xojo community. It was honor to have been asked to appear on the podcast, especially considering how new I am to the world of Xojo.

XojoTalk is produced by Paul Lefebvre, the Developer Evangelist for Xojo and owner of LogicalVue Software, a small software company located in Southern Maine.

I enjoyed the conversation with Paul. We covered a number of different topics, including my reasons for seeking out a new development environment, the many different environments that I looked into, and my decision to go with Xojo.

We also chatted about value pricing. Paul had listened to the episode of The Art of Value podcast that I appeared on and was curious about my take on value pricing. I think Paul and I have had similar experiences with value pricing, and it was nice to hear that I wasn't alone as far as that goes.

We also spoke a little about Apple's latest product announcements, and the Apple Watch in particular. I had a chance to ask Paul if Xojo would support the Apple Watch. Paul's answer was exactly what I was hoping to hear: Yes, if it makes sense to support it, then Xojo will very likely move forward with doing so. But for now, they're taking a "wait and see" approach.
